A grand revival awaits some 128 players from 32 teams who will go into overdrive in the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas Under 16 Pambansang Tatluhan (SBP PT) Finals 2024 on August 10 and 11 at The Block Atrium in SM North EDSA, Quezon City.

All 16 boys and 16 girls teams will come from the 16 SBP regions nationwide. This year’s Pambansang Tatluhan edition is presented by Molten while the official Venue Partner is SM North EDSA.

The format calls for four pools of four teams each.

The top two teams from each pool will advance to the quarterfinals, leaving eight teams standing.

Winners then move on to the knockout semifinals. Losers in the semis will be relegated to a battle for third while the winners will march to the finals and fight for the coveted crown.

Out to defend their 2019 titles are Region 3 (Boys from Pampanga) and Region 7 (Girls from Cebu).

The newest batch of 3×3 players will be looking to follow in the footsteps of Pambansang Tatluhan alumnus Mark Nonoy, 2017 SBP PT national champion representing Region 6 – Iloilo City. He was selected 10th overall in this year’s PBA Draft by Terrafirma Dyip. De La Salle University player and UAAP Season 86 Champion CJ Austria bannered the 2018 SBP PT national champions Region 4A/Cabuyao City. Gilas Pilipinas Women mainstay, Kristine Cayabyab helped her team bag the national championship in the 2016 edition of the tournament while donning the jersey of Region 6 – Iloilo City and many time Gilas Pilipinas Women national team player Karl Ann Pingol together with her teammates also from Region 6 – Iloilo City won the national championship in 2017.
