Kobe Paras hopes to represent the country in the FIBA 3×3 World Cup

Returning youthful cager Kobe Paras says that he hopes he is given a chance to represent the country once more in FIBA 3×3 competition.

Paras was a part of the team that competed last year in Nantes, France, from June 17- 21. His teammates included JR Quinahan, Kiefer Ravena, and Jeron Teng. The Philippines finished 11 th in the 20 team competition.

The son of former pro great Benjie Paras has also played with the 2013 Seaba Under-16 team, the 2014 Under-18 team that finished fifth, and the 2017 William Jones Cup squad.

“It is exciting that the Philippines is hosting the FIBA 3×3 World Cup,” said Paras. “I know the SBP is going to put on a show for the world. It will also serve as a dry run for the 2023 FIBA World Cup. I’d love to be a part of the upcoming Philippine 3×3 team if they will have me.”

The FIBA 3×3 World Cup will run from June 8-12 and will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
